An adventurous, though risky, way to travel along the East African
coast is by the traditional dhows (wind driven sail ships that
have been used by the coastal people and the Arabs to ferry goods
and people over the last one thousand years). Vindicate Tours
will be pleased to book you on dhows to the Lamu islands including
Kiwayu Island. A Lunch or Dinner date at the Romantic Tamarind
Dhow in Mombasa is a must for those with an inclination for a
little holiday romance.
